Thursday, February 24, 2011
– Arrival at Mexico City airport. Meet and greet by your bilingual guide.
– Transfers to the hotel.
– Dinner at the hotel

Friday, February 25, 2011
– Breakfast
– Join Spiritual Director Bishop Joseph J. Madera for his detailed
explanation of Our Lady’s self-portrait. Mass on the main altar at
the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe
– Box lunch
– Tour of Basilica area including the Guadalupe Museum, Chapel
of the Well, Old Basilica, and view of the Guild’s retreat center property.
Stop at Plaza of the Three Cultures, visit Church of Santiago de Tlalteloco,
baptismal site of St. Juan Diego
– Visit Tomb of Bishop Zumarraga at Metropolitan Cathedral
– Dinner at the hotel

Saturday, February 26, 2011
– Breakfast
– Travel to the colonial city of Puebla, where we will have Mass at the Cathedral, followed by an in-depth tour. Other sites in Puebla will include Santo Domingo Rosary chapel and San Francisco Church.
– Enjoy an authentic Mexican lunch at a lovely restaurant in Puebla.
– En route back to Mexico City, we will stop at San Miguel del Milagro church with a chance to gather water from its miraculous healing well. We will also make a stop at the Ocotlan Basilica.
– Dinner at the hotel

Sunday, February 27, 2011
– Breakfast
– Travel to Tulpetlac for Holy Mass at the Shrine of the Fifth Apparition, where Our Lady appeared to St. Juan Diego’s uncle, Juan Bernardino
– Travel to Tepotzotlan where we will have lunch at a local restaurant and visit the spectacular San Francisco Javier church
– Dinner at the hotel
– This evening, we will offer an optional trip to the world famous Ballet Folklorico at the beautiful Palace of Fine Arts*

Monday, February 28, 2011
– Breakfast
– Travel to charming Coyoacan, where we will have Mass at the Convent
of the Holy Cross, followed by a very personal tour led by Bishop Joseph Madera, who will share the story of Venerable Conchita. Our trip to
Coyoacan will also include a visit to San Jose El Altillo church.
– Lunch at a colorful local restaurant in Coyoacan
– This afternoon, we will make a brief stop for shopping before heading
back to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Here you will have free
time for reflection and prayer, and perhaps a walk up Tepeyac Hill.
– Farewell dinner at hotel.

Tuesday, March 1, 2011
– After breakfast, check out of hotel and transfer to Benito Juarez
International Airport for your return flight home.
