The Queen of the Americas Guild, along with the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is pleased to announce a 2-day conference at the Shrine July 21 & 22, 2017.  The theme of this year’s conference is “Cristiada – The Victory of Christ the King Through the Intercession of His Virgin Mother of Guadalupe”.

Highlights of the conference will include Mass and dinner with keynote speaker His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke, Cardinal Patron of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta and founder of the Shrine.   Others on the panel of presenters will include Bishop Arturo Cepeda of the Archdiocese of Detroit, Pro-Life advocate, actor and singer, Eduardo Verastegui, Christopher Check, President of Catholic Answers, and Grammy nominated Catholic singer / songwriter Marty Rotella.

The conference will be an excellent opportunity to enhance your faith and learn more about the Cristero War, the impact it had on our religious freedoms, and how it relates to religious persecution today.  In addition to informational speakers, the schedule will include Mass each day, group rosary prayer, and time for personal reflection.  A Spanish module featuring Eduardo Verastegui will also be offered.
